Description: Up for bid is a blooming plant of Paphiopedilum Pike Conger, Prince Edward of York x Faan Kruger, originally registered by Mochizuki in 2012. This grex was remade by Orchid Inn several years later. Both parents are half Paph. sanderianum (with roth on one side and philippinense and praestans on the other), and so this flower looks a lot like a sanderianum: long, beautiful petals, reddish flowers, and good shape. The plant is smaller than a sanderianum. It's beautiful! It is growing in a 5" pot with a start, one growth in bloom as shown and a previously bloomed growth. Plant photographed on 11/12.
