Description: Panasonic SV-3900 DAT Tape Deck with SH-MK390 Remote. This Panasonic SV-3900 works sometimes, and when it decides to work, it works well for hours on end. But sometimes It doesn't work when I switch it on, and when that happens it will either decide to start working after I flex it a bit, or it won't work. There seems to be an intermittent connection somewhere in the machine. I downloaded the service manual, which I will include a link to for the buyer, but it was over my head as I'm not really a tape machine expert. The remote works perfectly. All of the panel controls work, and the audio electronics all work and sound great. When the machine doesn't work, it will play for about 10 seconds and then the transport will stop and rewind. I know there is someone who is experienced with this type of machine that can easily fix this fault. This machine is for that person! Sold as-is, no returns. Will ship with rack rails (pictured), manual for unit and manual for the remote (pictured) and service manual PDFs.
