Description: I have been fortunate to have more than one drum kit through the years, allowing me to cut down on set-up and breakdown of drum sets between shows. This 20-inch ride cymbal has always been my 'band-practice set' ride, because it was not the most expensive or 'best' ride cymbal that I owned (that one I only used at gigs). It has a beautiful generic cymbal sound with not too much bell tone, unless you get right up on the bell. Easily blends with many different music styles which makes it a very versatile ride. I have cleaned it regularly and recently with proper cleaners, so it looks nice too. It does have some tiny flaws; (1) small gouge/chips on the cymbal edge, (2) stand gouge and small dent at the mounting hole, ...however all the years that I've used it, those flaws have never caused it to crack across the cymbal, like some cymbals are known to do. Structurally sound brass and does not crack! There are two close-up pictures of the cymbal edge at the damaged area, and two close-up pictures of the mounting hole so that you can better see these flaws. It DOES NOT have any cracks or splitting on the cymbal and has never developed any during the years that I have owned it. MAKE SHURE THAT YOU ALWAYS USE A PROPER SPACER BETWEEN THE MOUNTING HOLE AND THE CYMBAL STAND, so that the cym hole does not continue to get chipped by the metal stand, or at least buy some plastic or rubber tubing for the cymbal stand mounting arm.
