Description: Hello, for sale is a pair of Ultima Thule Red Wine Glasses by IITTALA. These were designed by the famous Finnish product designer Tapio Wirkkala and were made in Finland. If I'm not mistaken, Wirkkala hand-carved wooden molds used for casting the glass decades ago and the same molds are in use today. This is how they achieved this unusual pattern, like something formed by nature. The glasses look cool, they are easy to grip, and they are not as fragile as typical wine glasses. I purchased full table settings of Ultima Thule glasses in the red wine, white wine (similar but more slender), and goblet (similar but larger) varieties. Somehow I mistakenly purchased two red wine glasses beyond the number that I needed, hence I am offering these one for sale. They are in brand new, unused condition, with no marks, blemishes, or signs of handling. I have wrapped each one up in a thick roll of bubble to ensure they are delivered safely. These are from a non-smoking home. Thank you.
