The item has an attached tag that reads IDEAL EQUESTRIAN. MASTER CRAFTSMEN IN SADDLERY-HARNESS. ART NO. CS-903. SIZE. SHETLAND. We believe that this item was made within the last 5-10 years. The cheek straps have 5 different holes on one end and 3 different holes on the other end that allow them to be adjusted. The cheek straps measures roughly 9 3/4” from end to end when adjusted to the longest length and 8“ when adjusted to the shortest length. The cheek straps also measure roughly 5/8” wide and 1/8” thick at its thickest strap. The buckles appear to be made of nickel and have what looks like chrome plating. The buckles/pins were not attracted to a magnet when tested. The buckles have wear, fading, scratches, nicks, and areas with oxidation. The combined weight of the cheek straps is roughly 5.3 oz. The leather has shelf wear, manufacturing imperfections, scratches, nicks, dings, scuffs, gouge-type marks, and dusty areas.
