Description: A pair of identically framed, very clean steel engravings, one titled "The Waterfall", after an 18th century painting by the Florentine Old Master FRANCESCO ZUCCHERELLI (sometimes spelled Zuccarelli) 1702-1788, measuring 10 1/2" by 6 3/4" (17 1/2" by 15" framed) and the other, by the famous English 19the century artist JOSEPH MALLORD WILLIAM TURNER (1775-1851), titled "Crossing the Brook" (11" by 8 3/4"), and the same 17 1/2" by 15" framed as the Zuccherelli. The Turner has a small foxing spot at bottom, otherwise both are exceptionally clean, as is the framing. Perfect pair for the traditional home or office setting, nicely framed in gold. Both prints exhibit fine hand coloring. The Zuccherelli was originally published by the London Art Journal in the year 1858.
