Description: I have a hardcover copy of Painting the Black with a date of 1997 for sale. The book is still in very good condition and it is by Carl Deuker The pages are cream colored with no staining on them. The book is tight at the spine and it's not splitting at all. The dust cover is in nice shape. There is no writing in the book. The book is an ex-library book so it has a plastic cover on it and a card sleeve, along with a barcode inside the back cover. There is a library stamp on the outside of the pages when the book is closed and on the title page--and maybe a few others scattered throughout. The plastic cover is glued to the boards and there is a bit of scuffing to the plastic as well but nothing major. It's your typical library book.
