Description: You're buying the Paxton and Gallagher (PAGOMA) LOW ANGLE BLOCK PLANE SHOWN IN THE PHOTOS.This low angle block plane was manufactured for the Paxton and Gallagher hardware company.Carefully looking at the parts it's my guess that Stanley had a hand in the manufacturer, though I may be incorrect.The blade exhibits the PAGOMA SHIELD OF QUALITY LOGO, still in quite good and readable condition.The lever cap does have a good bit of flaking plating mostly on the palm rest area, the lever-cap also exhibits the "under the cap lever" typical of Stanley planes of this vintage.The plane is just under 7" in length.The plane body does have some mottling from oxidization and also some missing japaning.See the photos for verification.This plane is a very rare example of a local hardware company , and probably from the 1920s or 30sThis plane was thoroughly inspected cleaned and is ready for display or use.
