It includes works by Colombian and international cartoonists, whose comics he himself carefully selected to use them, but forcefully refusing to request the respective legal permissions both from the journalistic media that disclosed them, and from their authors. His intention was to collect many of the cartoons about his life and its meaning (most containing a lot of black humor and cynicism) Perhaps, those drawings also excited his ego and his dreams of going down in history like no one else had done before. This book was published during the period in which Pablo Escobar was imprisoned in "La Catedral". He himself managed to distribute some copies among his family, friends and collaborators. After his escape, the “authorities” stole the rest of the books that remained in jail. Sometime later, with the formation of the group “Los Pepes” (abbreviation of “Persecuted by Pablo Escobar”), his enemies were vicious against anyone who had been close to him in the past, including all those whom they found in possession of this book. For this reason, many copies were destroyed. The few remaining copies of this book “PABLO ESCOBAR EN CARICATURAS 1983-1991” (Barely 40), followed by copies of his other collaborative book “FÁBULAS PARA MANUELA” (co-written by him and dedicated to his daughter), lead astronomical sales figures in the most recognized auction houses of objects for collectors in the world. This amazing book also Include: " Un Narco se Confiesa y Acusa/"A Drug Lord Confesses and Accuses" A first edition copy original book (1989) with even more vignettes not included in the famous "Golden Book" and attributed to Pablo Escobar, although its true author is still unknown. (Now out-of-print) Annex1: For obvious reasons, the photos of the certificate of authenticity were edited to preserve and respect the privacy of the own author of the book (the lucky buyer will have, upon receiving the book, the complete certificate without any type of editing) Annex 2: This book can be purchased with complete confidence, it was part of the original private edition and its excellent state of conservation can verificate with the pictures that accompany it, in addition to the respective bilingual certificate of authenticity that endorses its author/editor before a public notaryAny questions will be welcomed and answered as soon as possible do not hesitate to askFor international shipping please contact to me before purchasing, although I offer FREE Worldwide shipping through DHL with tracking
