It has an embellished and embossed trim around the rim of the lid of the tin box. The top of the tin has a pastoral scene of a Burg outside of hte town of Nurnberg. Each side of the tin is also decorated. Condition: Great Pre-Owned Condition Observations: There are no dents or scratches. There is some wear to one of the corners on the top of the tin which can be seen in photo 5. There is also beginning corrosion on one of the corners on the bottom of the chest. Each item is carefully double wrapped and packaged for strength and the ability to make it to its destination safely. I am a realist in that after the packages leave my care, they could be tossed, dropped, and have other packages thrown on them; despite the "fragile" warnings I apply to the outer panels of the boxes.
