This set is most likely the first printing of the 1973 softcover edition based on the price amount located at top right corner of covers (versus the higher amount located on back covers of later editions). This book set is between acceptable and good condition. See photos showing the following imperfections in both books: overall cover wear - edges/corners, creases and rubbings, sticker residue on the underside of covers, first section of pages juts out a bit from rest of pages (all pages are intact), some staining and/or discoloration on the exterior text blocks. Volume II has an area of a few pages with water exposure creating waviness (see photo 22 for example). Otherwise the interiors show light page toning and are clean and free of any writings or markings.
