No pages missing. An unusual preface explains that the person who had originally contracted with the Daily Northwestern to compile and publish the book at his expense collected $1,000 in advance subscriptions and "suddenly left for parts unknown," leaving the Northwestern holding the bag. "The Northwestern then found themselves in the position of guarantors of a contract in which they had no share or interest and yet were in honor bound to complete the contract." Clean contents, no writing within, binding shaken, staining and general light wear to the covers as shown in photo. This is Not ex-library.
