This black & white, semi-glossy vintage baseball photo measures a large 14" x 11" on thicker paper stock. This rare photograph was issued courtesy of the Eugene Register-Guard daily newspaper here in town (as stated on photograph). The autographs that are present are facsimile signatures, printed onto the photo. Players, manager, etc. are all identified underneath the photo. The Eugene Emeralds played their games at now-defunct Bethel Park here in Eugene, Oregon. These Eugene Emeralds were a farm team for Major League Baseball's San Francisco Giants in 1962, and a member of the Northwest League (Class 'B'). The Ems were 63-78 that season. <>Players that are pictured include: Frank Linzy, Joe McLaughlin, Matt Gayeski, Paul Arneson, Dick Dietz, Jose Calero, Dick Estelle, Ed Feldman, Don McGillicuddy, Jack Simmons, Arley Kangas, Julio Linares, Mark Opatt, Carlos Dore, Alton Arnold, Bill Dixon, Damaso Blanco, Wally Cockrell, Dewey Holbrook and Don Pope. Also pictured are general manager Bob Morris, team manager Bud Byerly, bat boy Pat Humphreys and field superintendent Hal Chase. <>Condition: the photograph exhibits varying degrees of creasing and paper tweaks, but the photograph still displays nicely!
