Description: What a stunning album this 1911 Senf album is! The cover and binding has been preserved remarkably well, having been received covered in regular brown paper. This means that the colours are wonderful and vibrant and not faded at all over the 100+ years since being published. Inside the pages are extremely clean, although pages can be found to have small tears at the bottom where pages have been turned. Even though many pages appear sparse given the size of the album, there are at a guess a good few thousand stamps. There are better setions noted but the main value is held within the GB section where catalogue value stands well over £12,000 alone! There is a very decent 1840 2d blue, and good 10d embossed, followed by a good range of surface printed issues. Noted in particular are the 1883-84 6d with a crisp and clear London 'spoon' cancellation, 9d green with clear Marble Arch cancellation and 2/6 with a lovely Hamworthy Junction Station cancel. There are also very useful officials (not guaranteed). I have removed three stamps from this collection (2 penny blacks and a USA stamp), otherwise it is completely original and unchecked, and therefore a thorough check could reward. Condition is mixed in places as to be expected. This would be a lovely collection to build upon.
