The work was brought from Sweden and is in found condition, according to available information from 1973s. Björn Forsman (1917-1990) was a Swedish artist born in Västerås. He studied under Otte Sköld and Nils Nilsson and completed study tours in Europe. Forsman created still lifes, figure scenes and landscapes in oil, watercolor and gouache. He exhibited together with other artists and took part in collective exhibitions at the Gothenburg Art Gallery. Framed 26.5x 21 cm /10,4x 8,26 inches.
