Description: Here is an original Springfield Armory musket lock, dated 1864, for a percussion rifled musket. It still shows color case hardening, has a couple surface rust spots from sitting around for 160 years, but still looks great and is fully operational. If you are building a civil war musket, or want to replace a lock on a replica (which would probably involve some inletting) this might be the lock for you. Let me know if you have questions.
