Description: Vintage, undated but mid 20th century painting by the listed artist Catherine Melton, signed in the lower lefthand corner Melton. Painting is of what appears to be a Caribbean or West Indies street scene, most likely Bridgetown Barbados. Painting is in excellent condition and is in a gold washed frame with a black velvet inner bordering. Frame is in overall very good or better condition with some minor age and use wear. Entire piece measures approximately 15 3/8 x 13 3/8 x 1 1/4 inches. Painting by sight measures about 9 1/2 x 7 1/2 inches.
