Description: This is an original Black Forest Cuckoo clock with Regula movement that will run for eight days without winding. The movement was cleaned and re-oiled four years ago and it was running fine, but after being stored for four years, it will run for maybe 30 seconds before it stops. I suspect that the oil may have thickened a bit, but don't know the exact cause of why it won't continue to run. The bellows have been rebuilt, and the cuckoo mechanism works perfectly. The top has a crack in it and a small piece has been replaced, as shown, but this is not visible when the clock is hung on the wall. It is powered by two weights, each weighing 2 lb. 12 ounces. The clock includes the weights, pendulum, and crown that clips to the roof.
