Description: First-rate original copy of the Top Five hit, Phil Spector's first real Wall of Sound production. "Da Doo Ron Ron" was the first songwriting collaboration of Spector, Ellie Greenwich and Jeff Barry. The often-discussed lead singer was Dolores 'LaLa' Brooks - not Darlene Love who frequently claimed she was - with Brooks' friend Cher among the backup vocalists. Hal Blaine was the drummer. Flip side of the release is a very interesting instrumental, "Git' It." Scattered light wear has no effect on play which is excellent.
