Permanently attached handles and hand sew sheath (can tell the way the belt loop goes in the welt. So, this predates any CNC handles and before I owned a sewing machine. #70 so obviously the 70th one I made. Looks like it’s in fantastic condition. A very nice example of an early (pre 100) M18. Nice find.A acid scrub….. and yes. 01. There has never been a M18 made of any other steel.So here is a one of the original M18 ever made before he was using CNC machines for handles or before he had any sewing machines. Completely hand made, most of it was made with ideals in his head and more work with his own hands. This has a Compound Flat Saber Hand Ground 01 Tool Steel Acid Scrub Finished Blade. The handle are Cocobolo Wood Handle and permanently attached and all done by hand. This has a nice Custom Hand Sewed Leather Sheath made to fit this exact knife. This is pre-owned from the last owner that kept it as a safe queen. But because this is pre-owned, I am listing this as used and sold in "as-is" condition.
