Description: Military Kit Bag, Flyers Manufactured by Kings Point Industries Inc. Date: 8/67 Part No. 11-1-302 US Used by all branches of the US Military as a general purpose, heavy duty kit bag. Used most often by USAF aircrew for their kit as well as all branches of the service's airborne troops who often refer to it as the "Aviator's Kit Bag" or the "Parachutist Kit Bag." After a jump it was used to carry and store the fully deployed parachute and reserve back to the repacking facility. This bag has no holes or tears and is in very good condition, considering that it is 57 years old. The brass zipper works with no issues. All seven of the brass snap fasteners snap securely. The body has a few minor light stains (see photos). The bag has a previous owner's name written on it (Snyder). The item shown in the photographs, the actual item offered in this listing.
