Original 1898 Amber Flower Flange Dewey Glassware by Indiana Tumbler & Goblet Co

Description: Up for your consideration these Original 1898 Amber Dewey (also known as Flower Flange pattern) various items by Indiana Tumbler & Goblet Co. Indiana Tumbler & Goblet Company operated in Greentown for short period of time, from 1894 to 1899 when East Central Indiana experienced "The Glass Boom". This pattern was introduced in 1898, and named in honor of Admiral George Dewey, hero of the Spanish American War. There are two different sized table sets regular and the smaller 7 oz set. The Indiana Tumbler & Goblet Company was sold in 1899 to the National Glass Company. Pattern was continued by National Glass Company until it went bankrupt in 1907, and then by Indiana Glass Company which started the same year, when a group of investors led by Frank W. Merry formed a company to buy one of the glass plants that belonged to the bankrupt National Glass Company. List of the glassware: Covered Butter Dish - approximately 7" in diameter and 6" tall. Dish is in excellent condition. The cover has several chips along the edge. Creamer or Milk Pitcher - in excellent condition. It's approximately 5" tall, 5½" from handle to the spout and 4" in diameter. Mini Creamer - approximately 4" tall, 4½" from handle to the spout and 3" in diameter. Has several chips next to the spout. Please see pictures. Mini Pitcher - in excellent condition. It's 5" tall and 3½" in diameter. Mini Mug or Cup - in excellent condition.
