Description: >Offered here is an old and original 1938 "Follow the Pigskin to Birmingham" football schedule-sticker!! Please see both photos, as they are an important part of my description. This unused and rather scarce football sticker was part of a collection of vintage sports stickers/stamps, most pre-1950 and some from the early 1900's. This super-colorful vintage football schedule measures approximately 3" x 1 3/4", and features a die-cut design with a football protruding at the top. Says "Football Center of the South" at the sticker's bottom. I am assuming that the football games listed on the sticker were all played in Birmingham, Alabama. <>Games listed include: Chicago Bears vs. S.E.C. All-Stars (NFL vs. Southeastern Conference); Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Tennessee Vols; Howard University vs. Springhill; Birmingham-Southern vs. Millsaps; Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Tulane University; Auburn Tigers vs. L.S.U. Tigers; Birmingham-Southern vs. Howard, and finally University of Alabama vs. Vanderbilt University. This oddball football memorabilia is guaranteed to be vintage...no repro here! <>Condition: in *Fine Shape* overall, showing only minimal age/handling faults...nice!!! The sticker's reverse does show evidence of prior scrapbook mounting (see 2nd pic). The sticker's adhesive on the reverse remains shiny and unused!! There are no edge tears or creases present!!
