Description: Orchid Acid Etched Glass Vase Hawkes Sterling Silver Base Vintage American vase, having glass body with a sterling silver base, made by Hawkes Company, New York, NY c. 1913-1962. Marked S721. The glass features acid etched orchid decorations. No monograms. This splendid vase is 10 1/2" tall and 7 1/4" in diameter. The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing. The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no monograms, removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
