Description: Opteka 6.5mm f/3.5 Wide Angle Fish-Eye CS Lens for Nikon -** READ - POOR, WORKS🔭CONDITION: This lens is not a looker and has seen better days. Heavy body / finish wear, paint has faded and lens cap / fisish is almost tacky to the touch from plastic wear. PLEASE MESSAGE to confirm you have read the description whenever you purchase. The hood does screw on but the front mount / plastic has some play. Not sure if inteded by design. Also a chip in the plastic around the front, not visbile when hood attached. NOTE: This is a fully MANUAL lens and does not have electronic chips to speak to the camera. Because of this, you must shoot in manual mode or enable older / non computerized lenses in the menu or you will get an ERR message on the Nikon. NOTE: all of the aperture values on the aperture ring (manual aperture only on this model) are faded, so it's hard to tell which aperture although I suppose you could repaint them on? Aperture ring spins fine, focus ring spins and seems to focus but when rotating can be a bit crunchy noise at one point. DESPITE THESE ISSUES - it shoots and is a good budget option to play around with a fisheye this wide.
