There is such life-like detail in the face, feet, and hands. Beautifully painted and detailed to give a real baby appearance down to the fingernails. This baby has an open mouth made to facilitate the supplied pacifier. This babe also has a dark brown mohair wig (?) fixed/glued to its head. She weighs approx. 3 lbs. 4 oz. and measures around 19 inches long. She has blue eyes surrounded on top by long black eyelashes. She wears an ivory colored dress of cotton and lace embellished with silk ribbon rosettes on the chest and at the booties. He lace bonnet is also embellished with silk ribbon rosettes and beaded lace. She also wears tied on lace britches and ivory tights. This babe has been on display so there may be so wrinkles and maybe spots of dirt on the clothing. She is handmade and thus is not perfect. I noted any outstanding flaws or breaks in condition description above. That all said. I have tried to relay the best I can what I see, but I may have missed something as I am human and by no means am I trying to mislead in any way. Please refer to the photos (not the best photographer here--sorry) as they serve as a vital part of the description. All in all, in my opinion, the baby is adorable despite the flaws.
