Please follow manufacturer recommendations on cleaning to avoid tedious silver polishing. Half of this set appeared unused when I acquired it and the other half appeared to have little use but was needing a polish. They cleaning up nicely with Twinkle. Do not use the dishwasher for silver plate as it will NOT be a good result. Rather, hand wash in warm soapy water and hand dry quickly to avoid spots. Excellent preowned condition. Some patina noted. The set comes with what may be the original box that came with the set. It is a brown lined wooden silverware chest. It is in very nice condition with a few surface marks noted. If you would prefer not to get the chest it would decrease the shipping significantly. Please let me know.
