Description: A note on these. This style came in a variety of materials from lightweight stamped steel, heavy plate steel, cast iron and wrought and cast bronze. These are the brass plated heavier plate steel ones. Listing for one ornate antique doorknob escutcheon brass plated steel plate. Straight and solid in good condition. The original plated brass finish is not perfect but is in fair to good condition. It has been cleared of paint and cleaned. Pictures with one show a typical plate, all are in more or less comparable condition. As always refer to the pictures for size and condition. The pictured ones are subject to change as sold/added. If you see one you prefer you can choose it, just let me know upon purchase. The pictures that show multiple are illustrative of what is available.
