Description: Up for auction is one shotgun roll of Indian Head and Wheat Back pennies. This roll has an Indian Head penny obverse on one end and an about uncirculated obverse Wheat Back penny on the other end with tight professionally machined crimps on both ends. This Indian Head / Wheat Back penny roll came from a very large estate sale in southwest Florida back in the late 1980's. The diameter of this penny roll is 3/4". I have opened a couple rolls of pennies, from this old estate sale, just to get a feel of what could be expected. To my surprise, I found an average of 5+ Indian Heads in each roll, 5 to 10 teens, twenties, and thirties pennies along with several forties and fifties pennies. I even found a 1924 D in Very Good condition in one roll and an 1885 in Fine Condition in another roll.
