The statue is beautifully hand-painted in yellow, blue, and peach colors, and stands at a height of approximately 13 1/2 inches and width of approximately 6". He holds in his hand a peach representing immortality. The statue is a post-1940'S ca. 1945 item, featuring intricate details that showcase the Chinese maker's skillful craftsmanship. Shouxing is a very popular gift for a birthday present for elders. It is said he was born with the bald head and long beard.
