Description: This is an old, Native American grinding stone. It is an original grinding stone from the 19th century. As a tool for grinding corn, it was used by either the Pascua Yaqui, Tohono O'odham or Pima Indian tribe. The artifact was given to our family by an amateur geologist who collected many rock specimens and Native American artifacts over the years. Unfortunately, he passed away in 2009 so I don't know specifically which tribe it originated from or have any further information. Its origin is Arizona. It measures approximately 3.75". Please see pictures. Ask if there are any questions. Thanks for viewing. Metal display stand not included.
