Description: Here is an interesting and neat vintage MCM (Mid Century Modern) ladies - women's cigarette case & paper money holder. Made of stainless steel, with a black plastic of some sort background top. When opened, there is a spring clip in the upper part that appears could be used for holding paper money (or other paper type items?). The item has a neat design.... on the top is a purse and shoes/slippers in a raised design; and has faux jewels / rhinestones as part of it. Catches the eye! I do not see any maker's identification on it; and do not know the age for sure, but I suspect 1950's to 1960's or so given the design. Measures ~ 3 5/8" long, x 2 1/2" wide, x 1/2" thickness when closed. Vintage used, all rhinestones / jewels appear to be present, black top has stains and abrasions and dullness. Stainless case has abrasions and scratches from use. Hinges and inner spring clip work well; clasp works but may need some adjustment.
