Description: Up for sale is this antique fishing creel basket made from willow and trimmed in leather. It measures 19" across the bottom, and about 8" tall NOT counting the leather loop on the back. The coloring and patina on this one is absolutely gorgeous! The basket itself is in good condition! Better than most this old i'd say! Only thing that stands out to me on it as a flaw is a "primitive fix" to the leather strap. Someone stapled it back together as pictured. The rest is in good, gently preowned condition! For it's age i'd say it is in VERY good condition, but you be the judge of that. Check out the great photos! It sure is a pretty / handsome one!
