Description: Old Antique 19th C Doulton Burslem Stoneware Lg Pitcher Good Is Not Good Enough Here is a very attractive antique 19th C Doulton Burslem stoneware large pitcher with bacchanal type scene and motto; "Good is Not Good Enough, The Best is Not Too Good". Pitcher measures about 8 1/4" tall and about 8 1/2" across handle to spout. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks except for a shallow glaze flake to top edge measuring about 1/8" across. . There is some dark staining or residue in crevices inside bottom. There are some dark specks in the lighter glaze on the exterior, apparently done in the making. A great-looking pitcher. Please see photos.
