Description: Old 16mm Spacing Film Solid Metal Movie Reel In Metal Can Art Deco Kodak Logo EKC Reel (spool) is solid metal, not one of the reels with windows. Reel says "CINE KODAK SPOOL" "REG. U.S. PAT. OFF." on both sides. Reel is steel and is black color. Reel is 3-5/8" diameter and 11/16" thick. Center hole is square on one side and round on the other side. Only four flanges hold it together at the center. Case appears to be steel and is copper or brown in color. A magnet will stick to it. Can is about 3-3/4" diameter and 7/8" thick when closed. Vintage "EKC" (Eastman Kodak Company) stamping in center of lid surrounded by one stamped ring, and a second stamped ring on the outer diameter. Film is grey on the outside and light grey on the inside. It is 16mm wide and has sprocket holes on both sides of the film. There are no identifiers on the margins of the film. There is no magnetic strip for sound. We think it is only a spacing film and is not recordable media. Previously owned, as-is. Can lid closes nicely. Dents and scratches on both halves of can. Condition of film is untested and we suspect this is a spacing film and is not recordable media. Film does not reach outer diameter of reel when tightened on the reel. See attached pictures.
