Description: Being offered is a vintage, Ojibwe Indian made lidded basket box. The basket box is crafted from porcupine quills with quillwork forming a flower or floral pattern and decorating the sides. The main body is made of birch bark with woven sweetgrass. The basket shows age related wearing with some of the quillwork being broken in sections, along with some of the quillwork missing or broken off, especially on the sides. The basket is approx. 3 3/8” wide by 2 3/8” wide. I am not sure how to grade something like this so have taken many close-up pics to help assess the items condition, what you see is what you get.
