Description: This is a real deal original Delco remy distributor for Small and Big Block chevy engines. The numbers stamped into the housing are as follows: 1111169 7J29. The 1111169 disdtributor was used by Chevrolet on the following applications: All 1968 Chevrolet passenger cars except Corvette with the 396/325HP and 427/390HP engine with an auto or manual tran and 396/350HP with auto trans. This includes all Chevrolet fullsize cars, Camaro, Chevelle, El Camlino, and Nova models. The 7J29 is the date code. It decodes as the September 29th, 1967. That's right, this is a real deal production dated distributor. This is a must for your number's matching car. This distributor is in very good unrestored condition as shown. It is very clean and appears to be complete less the cap as shown. All parts move freely with no sticking, binding, or excessive play. The advance cam is stamped 732 CCW. The vacuum advance responds well to vacuum and is stamped B1. The internals look very nice and tidy as shown and should be replaced since their are tune up parts. The coil lead wire needs to be replaced or have a new end terminal installed. This is simply a very nice true factory installed high performance part. Don't Miss It!
