Description: OAXACAN WOOL CARPET - HAND LOOMED - NATURAL COLORS - ZAPOTEC MEXICAN FOLK ART. I bought this rug in a village outside of Oaxaca, called Teotitlan del Valle, that only makes handmade textiles, such as rugs/blankets. It was bought in 2002, but has never been used or hung on a wall. The dimensions are L 54"x W 21.5, plus 2" of fringe on each end. There is a small flaw on one end that is included in the photos. I don't know wh at caused the flaw because this rug has been stored in a cabinet for the last 20 years, so it is in excellent condition.
