Description: This bid is for a SUPER RARE New York Mets signed lineup card from 1965 at Shea Stadium almost 60 years old!On July 25th, 1965, Casey Stengel broke his hip, and Wes Westrum took over the manager role while Casey was recovering. One month later this lineup card dated Aug 28th (1965) was used for a game between the Mets and the Giants.Just two days later Casey Stengel would retire and Wes Westrum would become the Mets "Intern" manager. Up to that point in time, Casey Stengel was the first and only Manager in NY Mets history. This card, signed my Wes as the "Mets Manager" was one of the first times the Mets would ever have another manager! This is truly a very rare part of Mets history, only one year after Shea opened. Plus SIGNED BY WES! You just do not see these old lineup cards being sold! Each one is "one of a kind". Item has a JSA sticker on it.If you pass this up you may never see another.
