Description: This item is an extremely rare find. This is a Knotty Pine Double Towel Bar from the 1960's. This item is new old stock and has the original manufacturers tag and hardware still affixed. This item was manufactured by world famous maker of Knotty Pine items called "Three Mountaineers" based in Asheville, North Carolina, USA. There are two very generously long towel bars staggered with one further towards the front. A great space saving design. The measurements of this double towel bar are 22-3/4" wide x 8" tall x 5-1/4" deep. The back of both the left and right wall plates have a notch style hanger drilled into the wood by the factory for flush wall mounting. Knotty pine was a popular trend during the 1960's and 1970's in furniture and accessories. The original tag reads, "Mountaineer Rustic, by Three Mountaineers, Inc." on the front and "A versatile design of rugged beauty, Made of Knotty Pine with a warm Distressed Finish from Three Mountaineers, Asheville, North Carolina". on the back of the tag.
