Description: Nosferatu Vampire Rare Painted Resin Model - Needful Things Monster Here’s a marvelous “Nosferatu,” a unique, slyly sinister interpretation with a highly expressionistic pose that’s creepy as a crypt. It’s also an extremely rare resin model from 20 years ago that’s finely finished, ready to display. This vile vampire is a large scale resin model produced in 2005 by Needful Things. The imaginative sculpt is the work of Dave Grant, who delivers a striking Nosferatu unlike any other, powerfully presented upon a rat infested, stone castle base. Flawlessly cold-cast in solid resin, Needful’s Nosferatu is a commanding ¼ scale figure, standing 19” tall x 9” wide x 5 ½” deep. All model parts have been properly pegged from within during assembly for archival stability on display. The figure is pegged to his base with a long metal rod in each foot, but is not permanently glued in place for safer shipping. (Same for both hands: pegged, but not glued.) This one has been painstakingly finished in rich sepia tones, and extremely tight facial and hand details, with just enough blood to let you know he’s been feeding. Make no mistake, this fiend’s a rare one, with less than 20 kits ever cast. According to Grant (co-owner of Needful Things), the model has been out of production since 2008, and completely unavailable (he does not own one himself). But be aware, it’s a large and heavy model, weighing nearly 10 pounds on the shelf. Long the stuff of legends, Needful Things’ Nosferatu has reappeared once more, as handsomely finished as you’ll ever find.
