Product Description: This offering is for a new-old-stock Slime (made by IRC) Skid Marks 700x28c clincher tire with a kevlar belt and beads, so it's a foldable tire. Some additional details include the following... Size (diameter): 700c (or 622 mm) Width: 28 mm (although packaging also indicates 23-32 mm sizing and this is presumably compatible rim width sizing) Inflation rating: 90 pounds (per) square inch (PSI) Weight (postal scale): 248 grams Other notes: Tire labeling indicates this is a kevlar belted and beaded tire, which is generally considered a real benefit, because there is weight savings, foldability and improved puncture resistance. There are still the underlying cloth-like nylon cords that connect the two beads (or hoops), but the kevlar belt acts as an additional layer of puncture resistance under the rubber surface. We generally do not stock very many new-old-stock tires, because of their somewhat perishable nature (when exposed to weather elements for any length of time). Although, sometimes we come across tire stocks included as part of a larger lot of nos parts. This is the case here...where a small lot of these tires was included as part of a larger wholesale purchase. Now having said this, these tires appear to be in good condition (and all of them are still retail packaged...as pictured). I can also confirm the rubber that covers the kevlar belt and cloth-like nylon shell of the tire still appears to be in good shape. In other words, I do not see any age cracking in the rubber due to weather (sun light) exposure. One other quick note...because of the somewhat perishable nature of tires and since are stating these tires are in good shape...if you receive one of these tires that does not match our description (regarding it's functional condition), then please contact us. The last thing we want is for someone to purchase tires from us that are not as represented in the listing...and we will take care of you if this is the case.
