NOS Chevy 41 42 46 3/4 ton truck Running Board PAIR LH RH commercial GMC ?

Description: New old stock GM part# 3656705 LH (driver side) and 3656706 RH running board PAIR for 1941-46 Chevrolet 3/4 ton trucks. Not sure if they fit GMC. Chevrolet parts books have two descriptions depending upon what book you read. One says: 'AL,AM,BL,BM,DR (short)' - while another shows: 'AL,AM,BL,BM,DR (cabs exc pickup)'. The front of our 1946 parts book describes AL,AM as 1941 3/4 ton and 3/4 ton HD (14" brakes instead of 11") - BL,BM are the same for 1942 while DR shows only one 3/4 ton truck for 1946. All of them note 125-1/4" wheelbase. Parts book also says these are 58-1/2" long. Overall, very nice, rust is limited to some light surface rust but there are bent corners and bends along the top of the apron to deal with - see photos - for being almost 80 years old, we think they are pretty nice and can be brought to a high level by an expert body man. Any of these we have seen for sale are almost totally rusted away and they still ask for way more money than we are listing these for!
