It is also signed as payment received by William J Master, at Camp Graham,The 7th North Carolina was a notable Confederate fighting unit, taking part in every major Battle of the Wear incl Gettysburg and the Battle of the Wilderness. It's first Battles were in defense of Roanoke and New Berne, North Carolina.
