This Bendix Fat Knob is threaded for the Bendix Key arm which is 10/32 and will NOT fit 26003 Navy keys which are 10/24. For 10/24 26003 Navy keys please see my listing for that with 10/24 thread. Knob has a shaft that can be screwed into the Bendix Key Arm OR REMOVED so the ARMY FAT KNOB can be screwed on to the key arm shaft if it can’t be removed. How to identify a Bendix MT-11B FLAMEPROOF KEY : The most obvious is if the Binding Post Cover is in place with Bendix MT-11B printed on the cover. The other two Bendix identifiers are one the Skirt at the Knob end of the Key Arm is not flat but curves up toward the Knob. Another Bendix identifier is the Cord Clamp mat be unpainted steel and double over the cord and also under the cord.These are not absolute identifiers as parts on keys can be swapped around but typically the above will tell you that you’ve got a Bendix Key.
