Description: JAPAN Nippon Bone China Cake Serving Plate Handled 10" in diameter Dogwood Flowers ANTIQUE This is a lovely antique plate with pretty pastel-colored flowers, a pretty embossed design, and gold edging. It also has two cut-out handles. It is in great condition with little surface and shelf wear. The most obvious wear is to the gold edging. As with many items created in old manufacturing processes, there can be flaws. The plate is 10" in diameter and makes a nice display piece. The age is unknown, and there are no manufacturer's marks. However, the back of the plate looks and feels like antique Nippon. It could be unmarked Nippon, or even later Japanese work, designed for the American market.
