Description: Nippon Morimura Hand Painted White Orchids Pale Blue & Gold Vase C.1911-1921 Nice antique Japanese porcelain vase. Decorated with hand painted white orchids with gold highlights over a beige and pale blue background with green and pale blue checkered band in between and around the neck with gold beading. Gold gilding to the handles and along the edge. Marked on the bottom Hand Painted M Nippon with a wreath. This mark was used by the Morimura Brothers in Nippon (Japan) between 1911 and 1921. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 6 inches wide x 8 3/4 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
