Description: Up for sale is a boxed Nintendo Family Computer (Famicom) console imported from Japan. The console has been tested and works. Included in this listing is the Famicom console, an OEM power supply, a Famicom RF switch box, and the original box. Famicom consoles do not require any stepdown adapter for the power supply in the United States. The console is in good condition with some yellowing of the plastic, which is common with older Nintendo products. The controllers show signs of use, and possibly have adhesive residue from the old protective film. The box and styrofoam are in good shape. The Famicom requires channels 1 or 2 on a Japanese TV, which is between channels 95 & 96 in the US, so you will need a television that can be tuned to these channels, a VCR, or an adapter to output the RF signal to a television. Gameplay image is not an indication of video output quality. This is just the image through composite to show functionality, but the full AV mod has not been completed, so the image is poor.
