Description: Up for sale is a Nintendo Famicom Console imported from Japan. This console has been modified to output audio and video through composite (RCA) rather than RF, avoiding the dreaded “channel 95/96” issue. Audio is duel channel Mono. The “pin 21” modification has been performed. This eliminates most of the “jailbars” that plague the system, but these may still show faintly depending on the type of television you use, or if you are using an up converter or not. Note: this is the older board type, so the jailbars are more difficult to get rid of. The price is reduced because of this (see pictures for examples). The RF output was disabled. A red LED power indicator light has also been installed. The original fuse was replaced. Included in this listing is the Famicom console, a copy of Super Mario Bros., a TRRS composite cable, and an OEM power supply. Famicom consoles do not require any stepdown adapter for the power supply in the United States. Pictures of gameplay are only for demonstrating video picture quality. Super Mario Bros. 3 and Nekketsu Kōha Kunio-kun are not included with purchase unless otherwise stated. The console is in good condition with yellowing of the plastic, which is common with older Nintendo products. The controllers show signs of use, and have some small dings.
