Description: For sale is an Antique 18th 19th C Pennsylvania REDWARE plate/shallow bowl with beautiful slip design. The slip design is mostly intact. The glaze has authentic crackled look. Old baked back is beautifully blackened. Authenticity is guaranteed. It is a larger plate, measures approximately 7” in diameter. The plate is in great antique condition with beautifully aged bottom. The top has most of the slip design intact. A few minor chips to the rim as shown in the photo. The back also has some early loss of clay, which has been covered with blackened patina evenly. No cracks or hairlines detected. Other age appropriate surface wear and imperfections as shown in the photos. Please check all photos for detailed condition. Overall, this is a great early American redware display item ready to be added to your primitive/country/ early Americana/American folk art collection.
